NRK general membership meeting: together in the Netherlands to take the lead in bringing plastic back into the value chain

As a speaker at the NRK's general membership meeting on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, in Putten, Marc Spekreijse had the opportunity to explain the Circular Plastics NL program after the housekeeping part of the membership meeting.

After explaining the Circular Plastics NL program, there was an opportunity for questions and discussion. The Circular Plastics NL Growth Fund program that has €220 million available over the next eight years. In 8 program lines, research projects, pilots and demonstration facilities will be funded that should lead to an acceleration in the transition to ultimately 100% circularity in the field of plastic materials that will benefit the Dutch economy.

"Don't waste our plastic waste! Our plastic 'waste' has a lot of value. Burning it is a waste, together we can take the lead in the Netherlands to bring the plastic back into the value chain and thus make a big step towards 100% circularity faster. The CPNL program aims to accelerate this necessary transition."
