New grant CPNL soon to be announced

Grant for entrepreneurs and researchers active in or with circular high-value recycling, which reprocesses plastic waste into products, materials or substances.
The Circular Plastics NL scheme for 2025 aims to provide broad support for circular investments. Entrepreneurs and researchers with ideas for projects that solve bottlenecks in the plastics chain in the Netherlands can apply soon. This grant scheme with 4 generic research projects and 8 showcases will be put out for CPNL through Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) for innovative projects for subject* to the following topics:
Circular Plastics NL - Research Projects:

- Microplastics
- Development of in-line analysis techniques for the purpose of sorting processes
- Automatic sorting of the waste stream of large plastic items
- The optimal chain for mixed plastic waste streams for recycling.
Circular Plastics NL - Showcases:

- Mechanical recycling of polyolefin packaging
- Recycling of polyolefin food contact packaging
- Recycling of household or industrial plastic waste by dissolution
- Depolymerization
- Recycling of engineering plastics
- Recycling of soft PVC
- Carpet Recycling
- Thermochemical recycling of mixed plastic waste streams into new monomers for plastic production
Total budget: €35,500,000
