Matchmaking for two calls in 2023

2 minutes

To enable companies, organizations and knowledge institutions to collaborate in a new era of innovations in plastics and circularity, CPNL has set up an eight-year program with multiple program lines naming (parts of) the plastic value chains and highlighting bottlenecks. In 2023, we expect the opening of two calls (grant schemes) in October:

  1. A RVO-tender for grants intended for companies and/or knowledge institutions. This open call will include generic research projects (3) and showcases (9) and will be issued by the Netherlands Entrepreneurship Agency (RVO).
  2. A grant application through an NWO call for proposals from universities, colleges and TO2 institutions. This grant application for research in CPNL's incubator program has a budget of 6 million euros. It is called "Making plastics circular: technical innovations" and will be issued by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO).

Who can apply?

  1. The RVO tender is open to all parties: small companies, medium and large enterprises, knowledge institutions and industry associations. They can form a consortium to apply for one of the topics in this tender. Minimum roles are required to be included in the application, depending on the topic.
  2. For the NWO call for proposals, knowledge institutions, together with private partners offering at least 10% co-funding, can apply with research proposals.

How?

In early October, the two calls will be published separately in the Government Gazette. At that time, the exact terms and details will be announced by NWO and RVO.
