PROGRAM MANAGER (M/F/N) Circular Plastics NL

Background

For the implementation of this program, there is room for 7 roles as program managers who are jointly responsible for leading and further developing the program lines of Circular Plastics NL.

Each role has a specific program line under his/her care, with their work coordinated by the Director. Where necessary, program managers provide leadership to project leaders who may be appointed for large-scale projects within a program line. This is particularly intended for large industrial scale-up projects to demo scale.

The program managers are preferably seconded to the foundation by the Circular Plastics NL foundation from a (participating) organization because of their expertise from the field. It is essential that the program managers operate in their role strictly independently of the stakeholders in the projects within his/her program line.

Purpose of the function

Elaborate the content of the overall program into specific calls and customization to achieve the objectives, milestones and KPIs of the specific program lines.

Build the program into a high profile part of the national and international ecosystem in the area of the (specific) program line.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Draft and develop roadmap(s) for the relevant program line, with associated knowledge, valorization and market development plan.
  • Organize reporting of KPIs and milestones to relevant stakeholders (agency, board, RVO, NGF)
  • Monitor and advise on the specific program lines to the board based on these KPIs and milestones in close collaboration with management.
  • Coordination of and with the project leaders of the specific program lines.
  • Peruse and review business cases within the field of their program lines.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with participating parties and consortia in the program line.
  • To give visibility to the specific program line and the CP NL program and to enthuse the relevant market players so that there is sufficient relevant participation for (open) calls and customizations.

Job requirements (education, knowledge, experience and skills)

  • Academic work and thinking level and analytical savvy.
  • Relevant technical experience/training.
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience with the technologies relevant to the program line for which they are responsible.
  • Good understanding of relevant value chains, technical and business developments relevant to the program line.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial minded.
  • Effective networker and diplomatic minded.
  • Possesses a large network in the relevant industry.
  • Proven close cooperation with various types of stakeholders such as large industrial companies, SMEs and investors.
  • Preferably experience with "blended" funding and grant schemes.
  • Capable of systemic impact assessment in the field of plastic chains, and are particularly focused on solving concrete problems related to circularity, effective reuse of plastic waste and reduction of fossil resource use.
  • Solution-oriented team-player.
  • Stands firmly / Stress resistant.
  • Communication skills (fluent in Dutch and good English)

Leadership and coordination.

Job scope

0.3 - 0.5 Fte per program line.

With sufficient suitability and availability, it may be possible for one program manager to lead multiple program lines.

Place in the Organization

The program manager reports to the director of the CP NL Foundation office. The program manager coordinates and monitors the implementation of the specific projects within his/her program line with the relevant project leader(s).
