First Circular Plastics NL matchmaking brings parties together at Plastics Fair

The first Circular Plastics NL matchmakings, organized by CPNL and mikrocentrum, took place in Den Bosch on September 21. For the first time, companies, governments and knowledge institutions were brought together to address bottlenecks in the circular plastics chain. The CPNL team was also present, among other things, to mediate as an independent foundation and further strengthen connections where necessary.

Both sessions began with a presentation by Marc Spekreijse on the upcoming grant scheme, and representatives from RVO were also present to answer questions about the terms and conditions.

CPNL expects 2 open calls in the Government Gazette in October:

  1. A RVO-tender for grants intended for companies and/or knowledge institutions. This tender will include generic research projects (3) and showcases (9) and will be issued by the Netherlands Entrepreneurship Agency (RVO).
  2. A grant application through an NWO call for proposals from universities, colleges and TO2 institutions. This grant application for research in CPNL's incubator program has a budget of 6 million euros. It is called "Making plastics circular: technical innovations" and will be issued by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO).

Did you miss this opportunity? Another information and matchmaking meeting for the upcoming Circular Plastics NL calls will take place on October 12. CPNL, RVO and NWO invite researchers (alpha, beta and gamma), companies and civil society organizations to attend. Would you like to register for this meeting? Then fill out the registration form here by October 10, 2023. Participation in the meeting is free of charge.
