CPNL receives €43 million from National Growth Fund for second phase

Positive Results of the CPNL Review.
The CPNL program recently underwent its first evaluation, covering the period from the NGF's grant decision in June 2022 to April 2024. The Dutch Growth Fund committee, represented by Rianne Letschert, Michiel Muller, and Sven Smit, conducted this assessment. The Committee evaluated the results of the CPNL program, assessed the performance and economic growth potential of our eight program lines, and reviewed our strategy and plans for the program's second phase.
The evaluation has been approved by the Advisory Committee of the National Growth Fund and shared with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Climate Policy and Green Growth. The cabinet has adopted the committee's advice and allocated 43 million euros for the second phase over two years. These funds will be used for innovations and facilities focused on plastics packaging, high-quality technical plastics, scaling up thermochemical recycling, high-quality recycling through dissolution, and further development of open infrastructure.
The CPNL board sincerely thanks the Committee members for their recommendations, the RVO team, and all CPNL community members for their valuable feedback in the evaluation process and their commitment to the ambition of the CPNL program to make plastics fully circular and accelerate the transition.
