Week of the Circular Economy | Inspiration Tour Circular Plastics

15:00 - 16:30

Platform Sustainability Industry is pleased to invite you to an online event that explores the future of plastics and illuminates the path to a circular economy. During this inspiration tour, you will get an in-depth insight into the different plastics chains, from polyolefins to PET and styrene, and discover Coca-Cola's journey to a circular packaging chain. In addition, CuRe will show you how contaminated plastic streams are reused.

Plastics are indispensable because of their strength, lightness and versatility in applications. However, the use of fossil raw materials for plastics contributes to CO2 emissions, which eventually end up in the atmosphere. Fortunately, plastics are highly reusable, but this requires establishing new chains and developing new technologies.
